Thousands of Italians demonstrated Thursday night outside the Iranian embassy to protest against that country's president call for Israel to be "wiped off the map."He offered a defence, but let's face it: he's a hypocrite.
But Italy's foreign minister, Gianfranco Fini, skipped the rally, saying he feared Tehran might retaliate against Italian interests, although he encouraged others to join the protest.
He belongs in this book.
