What is Meant by "Sweatshop Labour"?

Apple is concerned about allegations that its Chinese iPod manufacturer uses sweatshop labour. AsiaPundit thinks maybe Apple does better than AsiaPundit.

We could fake outrage, but Steve Jobs is probably a better employer than AsiaPundit . The woman who cleans AsiaPundit Global Headquarters only gets 10 yuan ($1.25) an hour and receives no benefits.
