Five Years Ago Today
Ms. Eclectic was working out of town. I e-mailed her, we spoke on the phone, and she came home immediately. We wanted to be together. It affected both of us deeply. If nothing else, this five-year anniversary helps us re-focus on what is important.



The sadness I felt then has been compounded by the frustration I feel now because so many people do not recognize the threat posed by religious fanatics, especially those who think it is okay, or even a good idea, to kill those with whom they disagree.
