I come across these, once in a while. Although a vast majority of them consist of "essays" on the subject or plot or style of this-and-that novel, mandatory reading in school.
Romanian high-school has a mandatory, large literature class, regardless of the specialization of the class you're in. Hilarity ensues. That, and a prosperous trade in "notes" with the "standardizes" answers and essays.
