A Delightful Little Quiz
48%

I wonder if that means there is a 52% chance I would be the main course....

Just remember, folks: old meat is tough and not very tasty.

[h/t to Brian Ferguson; I'm not sure I want to learn what his score was. Maybe the optimal strategy when planning a trip is to make sure you travel with at least some people who have lower scores than your own.]

Update: Be sure to read the comments! Also, Ms. Eclectic informs me that she scored 31%. Rondi scored 20% -- down in the "great travel partner" range!

Smitty:
only 41%... i should stick to travelling alone i guess. maybe the percentage would be higher if traveling with strangers...i'm not sure i want to test this experimentally though.

Acad Ronin:
I got 56%. My daughter scored 33%, but then she is a Quaker-educated do-gooder. She circulated the test around the office only to discover that one of her colleagues scored a 70%. She now states that she will not get into an elevator with him in case it breaks down.

I'm at 41%, just like Smitty.

O'course, I'm the one who plans ahead -- I have the emergency survival kit in my house, right by the door. My car has a pack or three of MREs in the back seat (deeply buried, but still accessible in case of emergency), and I still have a pretty good set of survival skills without having to resort to "long pig."

Besides, that's what all those cats are for.

35%... I think it's a bit like randomizing with mixed strategies... I'd eat people 35 times out of 100 disasters, but my first disaster could as well be one of those positive ones. :-)

I'm a vegetarian, which I think accounts for my low score!
