Happy May 2-4 Weekend
This is the May 2-4 Weekend in Canada. It all started long ago as a holiday to celebrate the birthday of Queen Victoria every May 24th, but in the 1950s, it was moved to the Monday on or before May 24th so we could have a three-day weekend.

This is the weekend that many people open their cottages for the summer. It is also the weekend that many campgrounds open and are overrun by young people who see it as an opportunity to get out and party.

From Wikipaedia,
In some parts of Canada, the holiday is colloquially known as May Two-Four. This phrase has two meanings: the holiday always falls near the date of May 24, and a two-four is Canadian slang for a case of 24 bottles of beer, a common packaging of the drink in Canada (and a common purchase of those planning to celebrate the weekend).
To celebrate the holiday, I think I'm going to vacuum the basement.
